Craig and I hiked Green Mountain on Sunday (Addie was exhausted from Kim's wedding). It took us about 2 1/2 hours to hike up to the Summit. It was fantastic. The best part of the hike was Craig accidentally swallowing a bug.  Beaver Pond trail <-- no pond or beaver.

Anyways, I learned a few things:
- Need to bring twice as much water.
Ten essentials
- Don't forget the camera in the car.

Some pics that I didn't take:

Today I had a massive urge to speak German instead of English. This is not the first time this has happened, in fact, it happens much too often. This is worsened by the problem that I don't actually like (hate) the German language. Finally, after hours of thinking about it, I succumbed and switched my inside voice from English to German. Or tried to. As it turns out, I don't know enough German anymore to use it as my inside voice. So as frustrating as it was that I had the urge to speak German today, the ultimate satisfaction stemmed from not knowing enough. Vielleicht der urgieren gehen weg.
